Took this course to finish off my improving of rudimentary Excel skills and get an adequate grasp on nested formulas. This course contains a good lecture on how to put AND and OR inside an IF statement to match three different conditions - I'll be visiting that one. Things get complicated and tricky after Section 4 – the nested statements chapter. The more formulas used inside a formula string, the more complicated it becomes, and the more lost you are and the harder to understand it gets. Just try to understand the individual formulas first well as that will be beneficial to you as you move ahead because the formula combinations may not make much sense when you’re trying to figure out the reason or logic of why they are used this way. Personally, for now, I just keep doing it the way it is shown and eventually I’ll remember how it was done and can make sense of it later.
