He’s an easy to learn teacher, he stays on the subject and doesn’t go off the main points. After all that’s why I got the course to learn about the basics of DSLR cameras

I would like to thank Ken for laying down a solid foundation in Basic DSLR Photography. The section on Flash was particularly inciteful. I look forward to catching up with Ken in the Advanced course in this series.

There were parts I'm not so clear on. Overall, it's a great course especially when talking about shutter speeds. I need to test a few of the techniques to see if I really caught on to what he's teaching

Very clear and very basic. His speech (or the speed of his speech) is very good. I appreciate the discussion on how he got started and the encouragement that we could do the same. I also like that this is for beginning photographers and for film photographers (like me) making the transition to a DSLR, which has too much crap in the User's Manual.

There is a tremendous amount of wonderful content in this course. The one section which falls short is the section about the different features of different levels of cameras. A more thorough explanation of the features prior to this section would help. Alternatively, a PDF file that one could reference while watching this section would be helpful. Overall, I learned a lot and am pleased with the course.

This guy is not engaging at all. He lost me with in the first hour. Second half was slightly more engaging the more he showed you the work.
