good course for beginners. To the point and nicely explained. But, audio and video quality is very poor.
The screen recording quality is quite poor. Other than that the information is present very well.
This course is great because it's really eased me into PHP programming using a step by step, clear and concise approach. I can't recommend it enough, if you're an absolute beginner PHP would-be programmer.
The pace was very comfortable. I have tried the Lynda tutorial and the lecture moved very fast as it got into the more complex subject matter. Ryan's pace from beginning to end was excellent. This is good for someone who wants to learn something new or for someone who just wishes to get some review. You just have to have a good chunk of your day. Wake up, have your coffee and get to it. I've done quite a bit of PHP bits and bobs but I wanted to see how someone with more experience would implement a basic blog. Was very useful and explained everything well.
This was a great course which covered a lot. Soemtimes it gets a little bouncy but since you can always repeat the lecture, it is no real concern.
Outstanding tutorial and straight forward. worth the time listening and watching the tutorial.
