This was a very basic course and he didn't teach you specifically how to do anything but he did give a very good overview of the entire filmmaking process. I thought the best thing was how he recommended specific products (like camera, audio equipment, etc.) and he gave the pros and cons of each -- that was incredibly helpful. Also, while he didn't teach exactly how to use everything he did de-mystify the specific equipment which helped make the technical aspect of filmmaking feel less overwhelming. I also thought the lighting part where he showed step-by-step the difference that each light and each camera aspect had on the picture was fantastic. Overall, I recommend this course for getting some clarity on the basics of filmmaking.

✌️😎👍 You guys were being authentic with the story of your own journey including the successes and failures and the information was definitely a truckload! The only thing that caught my attention was some of the course cut edits were kinda distracting., but other than that you’re all rockstars!

This was a good course with a lot of great content. I gained some very useful insights that I will be able to apply when trying to use my new DSLR in filmmaking. The content is presented well and is an organized presentation.
My only real complaint is the editing. I can understand an editing issue here or there, but there are multiple gaffs throughout that could have easily been fixed in post. I found it disconcerting when I’m learning about filmmaking to see so many errors seemingly ignored.
