This class was created in 2014. It is currently 2021. I expected this to be able to teach me the latest version of Dreamweaver. Tough luck since the description for the class never clued me in to this little detail. The formatting of Dreamweaver has changed significantly (and the instructor is apparently not responding to questions any longer). I was able to overcome a lot of this by going to adobe dreamweaver help site and search for commands and the like. But it was fairly intimidating at first.

I don't want to know the history of website softwares. I really just want to learn how to build my website. The teacher seems to be in love with the sound of his voice. If this doesn't get to the point pronto, I'm writing it off as a loss.

History is important, but the key is to achieve our goals fast. I would suggest to 1) explain a few typical workflows first, then 2) allow the students to follow them in the order the student decides. I used to program in GoLive: great program, but slow and full of bugs... the IT industry destroyed it and now I am struggling with Dreamweaver... this is my workflow challenge: create nicely formatted text, image, video, etc. web pages with many hyperlinks, that work on any device... With a good overview of Dreamweaver features / achievable / examples is the way I would have started, rather than the history... also, pls. be more excited about the topic when you talk... else we'll fall asleep... Best, Paul
