In software development, it is evident that trying to run a "simple" project by implementing a series of manual protocols, backed by instructions, just doesn’t work well anymore. This manual repetition of tasks does not add value to the project or even the organization. What can be done to maximize efficiency and scale up development? Automation to the rescue! Automation saves time, money, and efforts by increasing productivity.

In simple terms, Ansible enables us to define our infrastructure as code in a simple declarative manner.

You can Use automation to your advantage by implementing Ansible automating tasks, such as configuration management, the orchestration of software lifecycles, provisioning tasks such as installing an operating system on a remote computer and deploying an application on top of the remote servers.

Ansible paves the path of innovation by proving that simplicity is the basis of all sophistication. At its core, Ansible has easily configurable components that are waiting to be explored.

With is customizable Playbooks, Modules, Templates, and Roles, there is nothing you can’t do in automation!

DevOps engineer ranks #2 on Glassdoor’s 50 Best Jobs in America rankings

  • Do you know what it takes to orchestrate and manage your deployment and configuration pipelines easily and efficiently?

  • How you make sure, all your servers or nodes in your growing cluster have a consistent version of the code and all the relevant dependencies?

  • How do you make the deployment and configuration processes repeatable?

  • How do you build your deployment and configuration pipelines in code rather than a bunch of documents or checklists?

  • How do you deploy your infrastructure and code in a consistent, efficient and error-free manner?

This was a great course, as I felt like I went from knowing very little to having the confidence to create several of my own playbooks, roles and custom modules as needed. I took down several notes, and love the fact that this course is mine for ever as a valuable resource, as well as your provided site with both blogs/course which you offer for future purchase. Thank you for this creation. Everyday I like to think I'm a better version of me because of your course. Thank you again.

too many demos are obsolete. I have to look for current way to install docker, ELK with ansible how to install last version of AWX. It is interesting even if it is not always easy. The problem is that I spent too much time with other application than ansible. It would probably be better to go into ansible in depth rather starting using jenkins.

Okay as a starting point if you're not completely new to ansible. Nice (sometimes too short) examples like ELK-Stack and Jenkins.
However, the docker content is outdated, no hints are given that the presented module does not work anymore or how to use the newly introduced ones and definitely lacks in-depth explanations.

All in all: Worth the price of 20€, but for sure not worth the price of 200€.

The course is good, but not very clear on what machine to use as as a host, so for Mac user for example, is totally unnecessary using OpenSSH, this is not address, also the lecture seems like a robot, there' s no personalisation, in case the situation/environment different.
