ABOUT ME

I have been developing for 5 years on iOS platform and around 4 years with Parse API. I currently have 14 major apps running on the Parse platform (and 10 more that are just basic apps). Parse is my go-to solution for adding backends to my apps because of its simplicity. I have also used other platforms such as Firebase and AWS Mobile Hub for adding BAAS to my apps but Parse is a lot more intuitive and easier to use.

I am a freelancer, I have developed over 100 apps in my career. I am passionate about teaching and I enjoy coding :)

ABOUT YOU

This course assumes that you have some iOS development skills, around 3-6 months of programming in Swift and the ability to develop a basic table view app. The course is NOT absolute beginner who hasn’t programmed in Swift. I explained in details all the steps in the course however a basic understanding of iOS development and some swift programming skills are required. If you want to develop cloud-based app then this course is for you.

It's 2019/11. Too much course materials are out-dated now.

This course is very complete. Explanations are easy to follow. I'm impressed by this instructor and have already recommended him to other developers.

I have now just finished the course. Again, very complete and good coverage. I am an experienced engineer who previous to this knew little about iOS and nothing about Parse. I am now well on my way to completing my first Parse based app.

Thank you again and great job!

Amazing!
It is obvious the instructor knows what he is talking about, and he gets straight into the topic while managing to explain everything he does really well!
He has given me the knowledge of how Parse backend works, and for that I am very grateful!
I 100% recommend this course to any confident Swift and Xcode developer looking to dive into iOS backend!

A very good course. Recommended if one have no idea about iOS development. You will build a nice app that can be used as starting point to develop others. Its a very good point that the course explains how to use Parse, a very powerful and easy to use back-end service, so you will be able to save app data in the cloud.

This course is smooth as butter. What I like about this course is how simple the lectures are and very easy to follow steps. This is what I needed to publish my first app.
