A Guide to Engaging Your Child in Creativity, Industry, and Recycling through Crafts

Being a home school mom of three, means education is something I must do.  Teaching kids is such an important task and just like adults they learn in different ways.  As a parent and teacher, I have to be creative in my approach.  My approach led me to Building Education Through City Creation. I came up with the idea of building a city about one year ago.

My original intention was to build a city just as a fun art project for myself.  Then I thought why not expand this to be something more.  So, I thought about things my kids could learn if they were helping me out.  That’s one of the freedoms I love about homeschooling, having the space and time to engage the kids with learning about their environment, topics in school, and life in a fun and creative way.
