I installed AMPPS on my laptop, then tried to install WordPress. No luck. I received the error "WordPress cannot be installed in the Free version of AMPPS. Unlock Premium Features". Prices ranged from $49/year to $2400/year. Since I can't install WordPress I can't continue. This course was a total waste of money. Don't waste your money and time.
Some very useful material about setting up as a web developer and handling customers. Good ideas about makings sales presentations to customers and practical situations. The WordPress side of things is quite good if a little dated but you can work out how to do everything. The course does not show you how to "Identify potential clients and how to approach them to sell a website" as claimed in the sales page. There are some examples of the types of clients the presenter got when he started out, but not how to approach them (there's no prospecting advice) which is a huge gap in the course and most disappointing.

Course was easy to understand, but could have gone deeper into some areas. I noticed that he did not go into what files should be deleted after building the site such as the "hello world" post and other unneeded files that slow down the loading.
I think it's a great course for beginners who need to start without coding and build websites quickly.
Personally I think some knowledge of coding will increase your fault finding ability when problems do occur and changes need to be made to templates.
But better and faster to use good templates than code from scratch. I've been designing websites for many years but I thought that I would try this course out to see if I could learn something.
Mainly as a modern refresher course....Because I think I need to update my skills for the more modern era, I enjoyed it....
I did learn a few things and confirmed most of what I already know.
However a great course overall!
