the course is great if you're looking to flex your angular skills while building something. I wouldn't recommend it for total beginners though. about the "low energy" of the author, I didn't notice it as I watched the whole course at 1.5x speed.

I could really use some more detailed explanations of exactly what's going on with each of these referenced libraries.
Also, a lot of the code is obsolete, because the underlying libraries have changed. This makes it difficult to just enter the code and have it just work. The upside to that is that I am learning a lot about troubleshooting Angular and Firebase; but it's frustrating.
