Amazon (Amazon com), the largest online retailer in the world, is a prominent cloud provider.

Amazon began as an online bookstore. It has evolved into an internet-based business enterprise, primarily focused on providing ecommerce, cloud computing and artificial intelligence ( AI ) services.

The company uses an Amazon-to buyer sales strategy to offer a vast product selection and inventory. This allows customers to purchase just about any item, such as clothing, beauty products, jewelry, gourmet food and electronics.

Amazon is headquartered in Seattle and has websites, software development centers, customer support centers, data centres, fulfillment centers all over the globe. Amazon's history and timeline Amazon has come far since Jeff Bezos founded it in his Bellevue garage on July 5, 1994.

Here's a  brief history of the events that led to Amazon becoming a multi-national business empire.

The 1990s

Amazon opened its doors officially as an online book seller on July 16, 1995. Amazon was originally founded by Bezos as Cadabra. However, Amazon was later changed to its original name. According to some reports, Bezos looked through a dictionary looking for words beginning with A in order to determine the value of alphabetic positioning.

The name Amazon was chosen by Bezos because it was unusual and different, and also as a reference for his plans to increase the company's size in line with the Amazon River, which is one of the most important rivers in the world.

The company's motto since inception has been "get big quick."

Do not delay. Enrol now!

Only generic and vague talk. No practical content. In this course you can get maybe a piece of motivation, but actually you cannot get "how to become an Amazon Best selling author" as the title claims.

I am getting inspired by the course's tips and the down to earth instructors and their passion. I have my little notebook next to me, and jot down ideas as they come up while listening. Also, thank you for enabling CC.

Each lesson in this course is an interview by Scott Paton of children's author Ricky Shetty. The course gives a broad overview of how Ricky Shetty got his book to Amazon bestseller status. It also has a section near the end about finding other ways to increase your income from repurposing and reusing your book content.
