The sequence of topics, the choice of topics, and the examples are good. As most of bash courses certain details are used and not clarified before or clarified in a systematic ways (e.g. the different brackets and parentheses). In general it is a good practical introduction to bash.

Bottomline: The teacher loves hearing himself talking! Don’t loose 10.5 hours of your life with this course!
- He never explains why (Ex: the sed expression deletes a line - why? Adding file descriptor adds to the counter - why? I can see that it does it, I need an explanation.. many, many examples like this)
- None if his videos is edited - you spend 90% of the time watching adding endless echo statements and moving windows around.
- A LOT of pointless talking. “Anyway”, “basically”, “actually”, “no problems” - if you hear that either before that there was a pointless point.
- In English “5 is lesser than 6” does not exist! The proper expression is “5 is less than 6”
- I will finish the course, only because of masochistic side, but I got nothing new from this course - all I knew before it, I barely understood and the ones I did not know, I got only more confused
- Telling me to check man pages or going in the discussion forums is not a replacement for a tutorial. If I were you, I would go through all videos and check if I would understand the point if I knew nothing about BASH
- Last reply on the support forums is 1 year old! So stop repeating on each video “If you did not understand, ask on the forums, we are there for you to help”!
- You are asking 94.95 EUR for this???? I got it for 10, and it is still the worst 10 EUR spent ever!

Instructor goes into much needed detail and gives examples on each subject so that the illustration is clear. My only problem is that the course feels a bit messy in terms of organization.

The information i learned in this course was very helpful. He does get mixed up in his thoughts sometimes and just wings it but ultimately makes you understand what he is explaining.

It's definitely an overview course - I like the style of delivery but it glosses over many concepts (most often reasonably so and with a valid explanation e.g. "there are books on this so go read if you want to learn more"). Most things are either explained well or fairly obvious with minimal research, but I have a programming background so it may not be as obvious to a novice in programming.

This is a great course Ermin! There is a lot of detail on BASH to get one's "teeth" into. The only suggestions I can make are to have quizzes and having downloads of the demonstration files would make it easier.
