I am a software tester and this was my first experience with a scripting language. Getting an understanding of the Ruby basics, was okay, but it would have been nice to provide examples of how these concepts could be applied during testing. Perhaps demonstrating for the students how Ruby can be used to solve typical solutions for web-UI or back-end testers. How can Ruby be used in a test framework?
The course Overview indicates the course would cover database connectivity; however, this was never covered in any of the lectures.
