The instructor takes you through STARTING many different projects. None of which are asp.net core 2.2, they are all 2.0 except for the api. The api section is 1.x.
You don't build a full application from beginning to end. You just create different solutions and go through the file structure.
If you want to learn how to build web applications in asp.net core 2.2, you need to build a web application in asp.net core 2.2.

There were several lessons about how to install Visual Studio, which is very basic.
The project had sms code included which does not come out of the box.
When EntityFramework generated the database, it did not generate the AspNetUser so I had to determine how to do that.
We are not really going into the plumbing of how things work - just showing many classes.
